Relevant Experience
• Peggy Liu is the founding partner of Fung & Liu since 1992. She merged the business of Fung & Liu with K. C. Ho & Fong on 1 November 2004. She remains active as a consultant and expands her practice in the PRC markets to include cross-bordered litigation; substantial landed-transactions; and commercial banking and project finance.
• She has considerable experience in handling large property and project developments in Hong Kong. Her expertise is in handling complex and sizeable syndicated loan transactions, and works closely with all the major banks and leading listed companies in Hong Kong.
• Under her leadership, Fung & Liu acted for a number of Sino-Hong Kong joint venture companies and wholly foreign-owned enterprises in major development projects in Guangzhou, Shantou and Xinhui.
• Peggy has also developed an impressive clientele of high net-worth individuals for whom she acts as private legal consultant to offer a wide range of legal services.
• Peggy obtained her law degrees at Oxford University. She was articled to and commenced her practice with Messrs. Baker & McKenzie, Hong Kong.
• Peggy sits on the Boards of Directors of a number of listed and private companies.
• Peggy was elected one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong by the Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1995.
